Obsession with Miffy

When recreating this poster; my inspiration came from Miffy; another bunny who has been very popular this year. I illustrated Miffy with sunglasses (an accessory that is not usually seen on her but I feel like it fitted the vibe of the poster). I kept the overall colors of the original palette but I choose to invert the black and white to make Miffy more apparent. Heavy use of little captions and text scattered around the poster but I did not make that the main focus of my poster layout.
My main objective was to make sure that the Miffies were all interconnected in some way and had flow. A technique that I really got to practice was my use of the clipping mask.
For the text that was scattered throughout the poster, I took quotes from the Miffy books and just general information in regards to the bunny itself and the creator of it.
